You will prepare and cook:
Chorizo & 4-Bean Stew (Cassoulet, being its proper name!) - I cut this recipe out of a magazine some years ago which had been provided by Cabassai & Co Artisan Butchers, Indooroopilly - a stunning, one-pot dish.
Grilled turkish bread
You will learn to:
Read a recipe
Weigh and measure ingredients
Use knives to chop and slice safely
Fry vegetables
Identify several common herbs
Use an oven grill
Take directions regarding hygiene and safety around the oven and kitchen
If a child is keen to participate but is unavailable for the workshop advertised, subject to workshop availability, they can join the same class on another day.
