- Identify, weigh and measure ingredients 
- Read and understand recipes 
- Use a knife safely 
- Grate, slice & zest 
- Work with bought pastry 
- Break and beat eggs to make meringue 
- Cook and work together as part of a team 
- Take directions regarding hygiene and safety around the stovetop, oven and benchtops
