A ONE-OFF WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN 9 YEARS & OVER - 3 1/2 HOURS - $79

The group will find out what they are cooking on arrival because we want it to be a surprise! A little hint……

There will be

• something sweet

• something savoury

The children will learn to, or expand their knowledge of, how to:

• Follow a recipe

• Weigh, identify and measure ingredients

• Use cooking utensils and equipment

• Make a syrup

• Use in-season ingredients

• Make a small savoury tart using filo pastry

• Assist with preparing a table for afternoon tea

• Follow directions regarding safety and hygiene around the oven and kitchen

• Work as a team
